Volunteering

A volunteer laughing with her carerOur volunteers make a difference to people’s lives across South Australia.

Volunteering gives you a chance to use your skills and develop new ones as you help your community. There are many different opportunities to volunteer at Uniting Communities including offering friendship to older members of the community, working in a Goodwill shop, or answering calls at Lifeline Adelaide from people needing urgent support.

Our 750 volunteers give their time for a range of reasons, and many of them find it a rewarding part of their lives and a chance to make friends.

As well as being valued by us, our volunteers are valued by those they help, and we are regularly told they make a difference.

To find out more about the volunteering opportunities at Uniting Communities please contact us on 1800 615 677 (free call) or register your interest here.
