New ROADS Residential Program

Uniting Communities' Residential Program is a support program for people who are experiencing problems with alcohol or other drugs. The residential program is located in Southern, Northern and Western Adelaide, where people involved in the program can receive the support and structure needed to make lifestyle changes.

Residents work intensively with counsellors on their substance related issues. The counselling team are qualified professionals with backgrounds in Social Work, Psychology and/ or Counselling. Counsellors work intensively to help people make positive changes and deal with issues such as anxiety, depression, confidence, past trauma and relationships.

People participating in the program are involved in community activities such as counselling, groups, cooking, art and craft, sports and gardening. Support for making appointments with a GP and community groups, as well as education and employment opportunities are also provided.

Eligibility: 

The program is for people who are wanting to make positive, lasting life changes.

Cost: 

Rental fees apply and can be negotiated with your counsellor.
