Free legal support to help you with a range of matters

Our services

At times, you or your family may need help with a legal matter.

We understand that dealing with the legal system can be confusing and daunting. The Uniting Communities Law Centre can help you work through the process.

Our qualified team can support you with information, advice, representation or referrals. In most instances, these services are free.

We also work with other community groups to support their understanding of legal issues.

Helping you resolve issues with Centrelink

We can offer free support for legal matters about payments from Centrelink. Our lawyers and volunteers can give you information, advice, representation and referrals.

Working out neighbour and community disputes

Our mediation service can help you work out disputes at an early stage. This can avoid drawn-out legal proceedings or court visits, which are expensive and take time.

Problems with your credit?

The Consumer Credit Law Centre of South Australia helps people to resolve problems with credit. This may be directly with a bank or another lender.

Protecting older people from abuse and neglect

The Elder Abuse Unit provides information, support and legal advice to people affected by elder abuse. We can support family members if they believe their loved one is experiencing abuse.

Support with general legal issues

We can help you with a range of legal matters. The advice and support we offer is independent and confidential. Services are available from our offices across Adelaide.

Would you like information on your rights with the NDIS?

The Disability Advocacy Service can help you to navigate the NDIS, understand your rights and resolve issues.
