In 2015, we commenced the process of becoming a White Ribbon Accredited organisation.

This involved looking at our approach to the broader issue of violence against women and making sure our staff and volunteers are aware of what we can do to foster a safer workplace. We are proud to announce that in 2016 we became a formally recognised White Ribbon Workplace.

The White Ribbon Australia Workplace Accreditation Program recognises organisations that are taking active steps to stop gendered violence. White Ribbon Workplaces promote respectful relationships and gender equality within the workplace and demonstrate a culture of zero tolerance of violence against women. Uniting Communities is committed to providing a safe workplace environment and striving to create a cultural shift that leads to a future without violence against women.
