The Family Relationship Centre provides family dispute resolution (also known as mediation) for families. Mediation can involve children, if appropriate, to address their interests where possible.
We can also offer mediation to other affected family members, such as mediation between parents and grandparents about care arrangements for grandchildren.
The Family Relationship Centre can also help with property dispute resolution, if you are already attending the service to discuss children’s care arrangements.
Family By Family
All families go through tough times at some point. Family By Family is a network of families supporting other families to make the changes they want in their lives.Read more
We find and train families who have been through challenges, have come out the other side and are now experiencing more ups than downs. These ‘Sharing Families’ have something to share with families who are going through difficulties and want to make changes in their lives. We call these families who are seeking a new way forward ‘Seeking Families’.
Together, the families work on achieving goals and moving towards thriving lives. Everyone’s goals are different, so families aren’t told what they need to change – rather, they are supported to meet their aims, whether it be with budgeting, getting along better, getting out and about more, or making more friends. There are lots of changes that these link-ups can help families make.
People are at the centre of everything we do, so it’s all about getting more good things happening for families. Any family can get a link-up as long as they have something they want to change and live in the northern, inner southern or western suburbs of Adelaide.
