This short course provides an introduction to mental health, highlighting challenges faced by people going through tough times and how you can support them appropriately in your role.

Participants will gain awareness of stress and consider strategies to help manage stress, as well as develop strategies in noticing and supporting people with signs of depression whether it is family, a friend or colleagues. Participants will learn how to identify people who may be having suicidal thoughts and how to start conversations with people who may be at risk. Learn some key communication and listening skills and how to manage your own self-care, safely.

This course is provided as a group training session at your location for a maximum of 24 participants.
