Open Letter to Minister Michaels on passage of Residential Tenancies (Miscellaneous) Amendment Bill

06/12/23

Uniting Communities, SACOSS, Better Renting, Shelter SA and Anti-Poverty Network SA together with 13 other community organisations have written to Minister Michaels regarding the passage of Residential Tenancies (Miscellaneous) Amendment Bill in South Australian parliament last week.

These new amendments are a crucial step forward for improving renting for the nearly one third of South Australians that rely on it.

We strongly recommend that the conversation does not end here and that further reforms are considered to improve renting in South Australia.
