Services for people from all cultures, lifestyles + backgrounds

Our services

Building + strengthening community connections

We offer a range of services for people from all cultures, lifestyles and backgrounds.

Our programs support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and families who are newly arrived to Australia. We also offer peer support services for the LGBTIQA+ community and their loved ones.

Aboriginal Community Connect

A ‘one-stop’ service for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples who are seeking support. Our services include help with homelessness or accommodation if you’re visiting Adelaide, as well as support for drug and alcohol use.

Support for people and families new to Australia

We can support you and your family to adjust to Australian life, including assistance accessing education, employment and other services.

Support for the LGBTIQA+ community

We can offer peer support, counselling and community connections if you have questions about sexuality, gender identity and intersex variations. We can also support your loved ones .

Hope's Cafe community initiative

Hope’s Café offers people from the eastern suburbs and surrounding communities – including refugees and those who feel disengaged and vulnerable – a place to get to know others and develop a sense of belonging.

Regional support

Uniting Communities is proud to support the South Australian community. We have office locations in a number of regional areas.
