Aboriginal services

We support Aboriginal + Torres Strait Islander people in a way that respects culture + beliefs.

We offer a range of services if you are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person seeking support.

These include assistance with homelessness or accommodation if you’re visiting Adelaide, as well as support for drug and alcohol use.

Our services

Supporting your cultural needs + connection to community

There are often many things that affect someone’s wellbeing. These might include social disadvantage, trauma, poverty, or problems with physical and mental health.

We look at these challenges as a whole as we support you.

Our support includes cultural healing connection activities and group work. We can link you with mental health support, counselling and case management. We can connect you with other people and groups in the community to support your wellbeing.

Changing use of alcohol + other drugs

Aboriginal Community Connect is a ‘one-stop’ service to help change your use of alcohol and other drugs. We do this in a way that supports your social, emotional and cultural wellbeing.

Helping people at risk of homelessness

We can work with you if you are at risk of rough sleeping or overcrowding in your home. Our focus is on supporting yours and your family’s needs.

Learn about our story

The Aboriginal community helped shape the story of our service + the imagery we use. As much as possible, elements have been designed to represent all Aboriginal people + their communities.
