Supporting reunification of children in care with their parents

Service overview

Bringing families back together - stronger than ever

At Newpin, we’re here to support parents on their journey to rebuild stronger, healthier relationships with their children. Our goal is to create a safe, supportive space where parents can work through personal and family challenges in a therapeutic way - helping children return home from care and thrive in a loving, stable environment.
Program Information
About Newpin
Newpin (New Parent and Infant Network) is an intensive child protection and parent education program dedicated to helping children return safely to their families. Over a period of up to 18 months, parents and children come together at our welcoming, community-based centres to participate in specially designed activities that boost wellbeing, build parenting skills, and nurture strong, positive family relationships that last.
How Newpin works
Our trained team works closely with parents, children, and caseworkers to create a safe, nurturing environment for restoration. Over up to 18 months, families participate in regular centre-based visits and therapeutic parenting groups that build positive parenting skills and strengthen emotional bonds.
Our locations
Newpin operates three welcoming centres across Adelaide’s northern, western, and southern suburbs.
