How we can support you
Community Connections can support you to:
explore social groups, activities and events in your local community
meet people who share your interests
build confidence in trying new activities and social situations
explore volunteering and other ways to get involved
reconnect with interests or activities you’ve enjoyed before
connect with other services, networks and information that may be useful to you
We are here for you
Community Connections is available to people aged 18–64 living in South Australia who aren’t eligible for NDIS or My Aged Care support.
If you’re feeling disconnected from the people or community around you, or you’d simply like more opportunities to get involved, you’re welcome to get in touch.
Priority is given to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people experiencing financial disadvantage, people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities, LGBTIQA+ people, unpaid carers and people living in communities where access to opportunities may be limited.
These priority groups don’t exclude other people experiencing social isolation from contacting the program.
