Last year, people across South Australia connected with support through Uniting Communities more than 115,000 times.
Across 61 sites, 1,246 employees and 369 volunteers helped make those moments possible.
Some of the outcomes highlighted in the report include:
41,168 crisis calls answered by Lifeline Adelaide and Lifeline South East.
9,445 older people supported to understand and access aged care services through our Aged Care Assessment Service.
4,337 older people supported to live well at home and in their community.
3,118 people supported on their alcohol and other drug recovery journey through New ROADS.
707 new Australians who found welcome and connection through the New & Emerging Communities Program.
455 young people in regional South Australia supported to improve their wellbeing through headspace Mount Gambier.
335 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who received culturally safe support through Aboriginal Community Connect.
247 older people who found a safe and comfortable home at Aldersgate or Murray Mudge.
These outcomes speak to the breadth of our work and the many ways we support people across the community, whether that’s helping older people stay connected, supporting families through tough times, or being there for people in crisis and recovery.
To everyone who helped make this work possible, thank you.
